available to all families on Wednesday 13 December via the Parent portal on MyMarcellin. Families will receive an email informing them when their son’s report is
available to access.
To access your son’s Semester Two Report please log on to the Parent portal
using your personal log in details. This will allow you to view your son’s

Semester reports are designed to
provide feedback on a range of areas related to your son’s learning and work
habits for all subjects studied in Semester Two.

Each subject report provides a description
of the content covered throughout the semester and listed results measured
against the required Victorian Curriculum Achievement Standards (Year 7 to 10)
and set learning outcomes and competencies for VCE, VET and/or VCAL subjects. The
level of achievement for each subject is assessed using the descriptors outlined
in the attached guidelines for parents.
For Year 7 to 10 subjects, subject skills are based on the Achievement Standards and Content Descriptors outlined in the Victorian Curriculum at each level for the relevant subject.
For VCE, VET and VCAL subjects, subject skills are based on the key skills listed in the relevant VCAA Study Design for each VCE subject and the competency requirements for all VCAL and VET subject.
The Pastoral Report for students
provides a comment on your son’s overall progress, co-curricular involvement
and Personal Learning Goals for the semester. The development of Personal
Learning Goals requires each student to work with his Pastoral Leader to set
academic, organisational and social goals for their studies. Students have
reflected throughout this term on how well they were progressing towards their
Personal Learning Goals. This section of the report also provides the details
of any academic and / or co-curricular award your son may have received this
7 Maths Pathways
In addition to their subject reports
Year 7 students will receive a separate report for Mathematics. Similar to
Semester One, student assessment and skill development will be reported on via
the Maths Pathway program. Parents will be able to download their son’s Maths
report via the Marcellin Student Report Portal. Parents will also able to
access their son’s report and further feedback using their Maths Pathway login.
