Semester Two commenced on Tuesday 12 June and I trust all students have started the new semester well. For those starting new subjects including the various electives offered at Year 9 and 10, I hope you are enjoying the start of your new subjects and wish you the best with your studies throughout the semester.

As we commence a new semester and enter the second half of the year the College's Learning and Teaching Team gathered on Thursday 31 May as part of our annual Strategic Planning workshop. Key projects discussed during this workshop included the reporting of the Critical and Creative Thinking, Ethical, Intercultural, and Personal and Social capabilities taught across the Victorian Curriculum in Years 7 to 10 for Semester Two, 2018. We also commenced planning for the introduction of Digital Technologies at Years 7 and 8 in 2019.

As a College we are committed to every student having the opportunity to strive for the highest in all that they do. The work undertaken by the Learning and Teaching Team in recent years continues to ensure we are providing a learning and teaching program that allows all students to fulfil their potential as learners within a faith learning environment. The work in reporting against each of these capabilities also strengthens our commitment to ensuring students are developing the learning capabilities and skills necessary to succeed in an ever-changing world.
