An important part of the Faith development in the young men at Marcellin College is our House Social Justice Program. Each house works on raising awareness, developing responses and taking action on some important issues within our local and global community. This awareness and the subsequent responses are viewed through our Catholic/ Marist lense. The House Social Justice Program encourages all students to view themselves as part of a greater Marist and Catholic family, committed to recognising that all are created in the image and likeness of God and the inherent dignity that should be granted to everyone. This is the final year for each house on their issue before they begin afresh next year. All houses engage with the issue and the respective charities in a slightly different way so please speak with your sons or their pastoral leaders should you wish to become involved.
Please see below for the list of Houses and the Social Justice Issues they are focusing on for 2019.
