Semester Two – V.C.E Subject Re-selection

As students reflect on Semester One, a reminder that students in Year 11 who are interested in changing subjects for Semester Two are to complete a subject change form by Friday 14 June 9:00am. Subject change forms are available from Students Services.

If students have questions regarding a possible change of subject they are encouraged to see their subject teacher or Kalli Koniaras - Head of Learning ( Years 10-12).

General Achievement Test (GAT) – Wednesday 12 June

All VCE or VCAL students enrolled in one or more VCE or scored VCE VET Units 3 and 4 subjects will be completing the GAT on Wednesday 12 June.

The GAT is an essential part of the VCE assessment procedures and is a test of general knowledge and skills in:

  •  Written Communication
  •  Mathematics, Science and Technology
  •  Humanities, the Arts and Social Sciences

Due to the scheduling of the GAT, we are aware that this may clash with many students who access a VETis program running externally to the College.  As the GAT is an external requirement across all secondary schools, a number of VETis classes may be cancelled for this date.  Students are asked to check this with their external Trainer or see  Fran Davey (VET Co-ordinator).

We wish all students undertaking the GAT and completing exams over the next two weeks the very best.
