The AGSV summer season is just around the corner with all non 1st teams starting official training week one of term four. 1st Basketball, Cricket and Tennis have already commenced their training. Over 800 boys weekly will be looking to represent the school with great sportsmanship and pride. Cover drives, layups, volleys, spikes and serves will all be practiced at training in preparation for Saturday matches.

Training

Training will commence in the first week of term four. All boys who completed the Summer Sport online form indicating they wish to represent the college must attend the first training session. Training schedules can be found on the Sport News section of MyMarcellin here.

Coaches

All teams have a coach that is responsible to team selection and communication. All correspondence is to be done directly to team coaches. A list of coaches can be found here.

Games

All teams will start their season on October 19th  and play four rounds in term four. 1st Basketball, 1st Cricket and 1st Tennis will play an extra game on November 24th. All teams will return to competition on February 1st  and play a further five games. Draft fixtures can be found here.

Fixtures

The confirmed weekly fixture will be posted on the Sport News section of MyMarcellin on the Tuesday prior to the round of Sport. This can also be accessed via the Eagle on Thursday of that week. If a late change occurs, families will be contacted via MyMarcellin.

AGSV Your Sport APP

All AGSV fixture information can be found via the Your Sport APP. This comes in both android and ios versions. Search ‘Your Sport” at your App store.  


Team Sheets

Each team will have their team sheet posted by their coach via their MyMarcellin page. Families are encouraged to check the Team Selection area.

Uniforms

A reminder that Dobsons in Balwyn North is the official supplier of the College Sporting uniform.

Bus Transport

Bus transport will be provided to games at the following locations. All Assumption, Mentone, PEGS, Peninsula, Ivanhoe games at Plenty and Volleyball games.

MyMarcellin

AGSV Venues

The AGSV website has done a wonderful job to provide information about all sporting venues. Families are encouraged to use this resource in their planning. A direct link can also be found via each individual sport page here.

First Aid

The AGSV has All schools are have well documented first aid policy. Each Marcellin staff member who coaches a team is required to have a Level One first aid certificate. Phoenix First Aid has been once again contracted to provide first aid at all Marcellin venues. They can be located at three separate venues each Saturday. There location is within St Marcellins Hall.

Standard of Behaviour

The AGSV has a fantastic stance on the behaviour of all people that participate in AGSV sport. They have put these standards together for all to see.

The Heads of the Associated Grammar Schools of Victoria (AGSV) welcome the many opportunities available to their students to take part in inter-school competitive sport. It is their aim to make the games enjoyable in terms of athletic achievement and friendly rivalry.
