House Graduations
by Assistant Principal of Students, Melissa Mackellin - Wednesday, 27 November 2019, 9:55 AM

With the end of the school year approaching, House Graduations began this week and will continue into the final week of school, concluding on Tuesday 3 December. House Graduation is an opportunity for the House to demonstrate their Marist spirituality by being present as a family in recognising the contributions of all boys to the House, particularly acknowledging those who achieve House Spirit Awards. It is a time to celebrate love of work by awarding Academic Colours and by valuing the efforts of all either in academic, spiritual, sporting, cultural or social pursuits. All of these different areas allow students to thrive at the College and to explore different opportunities and areas of interest.

Each Graduation provides students time to reflect on the year and consider how they have contributed to the life of the College and their House by actively living the Marist values in the footsteps of Saint Marcellin Champagnat.

For those students who are exiting the College, we wish them continued success in their learning journey. We remind them that they are always considered young men of Marcellin. We look forward to hearing of their future endeavours and thank them for their presence and the contributions they have made that have enriched our community.

As we come to the end of the year, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our parent community for their willingness to work in partnership with the College to support our young men. We would like to take this opportunity to wish our community a holy and Happy Christmas as we look forward to 2020.
