Setting up email on mobile devices [edit]

Office 365 email setup for iOS devices

Option 1: iPhone built-in mail app

  1. Open 'Settings'
  2. Select ‘Passwords & Accounts’
  3. Select 'Add Account'
  4. Select 'Exchange'
  5. In the email field enter ID@marcellin.vic.edu.au (ie 12345@marcellin.vic.edu.au)
  6. In the description field enter Marcellin
  7. When prompted to with the choices “Configure Manually” or “Sign In”, choose Sign In
  8. Enter your Marcellin password
  9. Accept the permission request
  10. Select the items you would like to sync
  11. Hit save

 

Option 2: Outlook app for iPhone / Android

  1. Download Outlook from the App Store or Google Play
  2. Open the Outlook app
  3. Enter your email address in the form ID@marcellin.vic.edu.au (ie 12345@marcellin.vic.edu.au)
  4. Select ‘Add Account’
  5. You will be asked to authenticate – select ‘Open Authenticator’
  6. Enter your Marcellin password
  7. When prompted to add another account, choose ‘Maybe Later’
